Take-N-Make Kit Instructions

We sell 8” Family Take-N-Make Kits (shown above), 8”/12”/16” Cheese Take-N-Make Kits, and also our 12” and 16” dough balls! If you’ve purchased one, here are the instructions on how to make delicious Pizza Dive pizza at home:

  1. Preheat your oven to 450F. If cold, let the Sweet Garlic Butter Sauce come to room temperature.

  2. Prepare your pan. Spray your pan with cooking spray or brush with vegetable or olive oil, so it won’t stick to the pan after baking.

  3. Stretch your dough. Sprinkle your work surface (about 2’ x 2’) with dusting flour. Remove your dough from the bag and dust it thoroughly with flour. Gently rotate and stretch the dough, on the counter or laying it over the backs of your hands to stretch and toss, until you have a circle. If the dough is tight or springs back, let it rest for about 5 minutes and then stretch again. You’re stretching out the gluten strands that formed when we made the dough from scratch and during our 24-hour+ cold rise.

  4. Place the stretched dough on your prepared pan. Using a fork, prick the surface of the dough liberally. This helps prevent bubbles in the crust while cooking.

  5. Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings to within about 1/2” of the rim. Leaving about 1/2” helps form the “cornicione”/edge of the pizza.

  6. Bake at 450F for 10-15 minutes. Ovens vary. Begin checking your pizza at about 10 minutes (or sooner if you begin to smell it baking). Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. The pizza should reach a minimum interior temperature of 165F.

  7. Using mitts or towels to protect your hands, remove the pan from the oven.
